Moss type: Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In bogs, In moorlands, and On rotten logs.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very robust.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores.

It is very resistant to fire damage.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It comes in 23 varieties.
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
