Copper

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is copper, and is covered in brittle olive spines. The ripped-edged, perforated leaves are either purple, or silver with gold streaks. Sparse amounts of them grow from the base in a symmetrical pattern. The leaves are delicate, but do not detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid green petals and an orange central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is made up of 19 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has a faint scent that smells like rainy days.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the dark brown flesh is smooth, and the crimson sap is thin and can kill if consumed.

It is said to be the favourite flower of a legendary person.
