Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This big fruit tree grows up to 43 feet (13.1 meters) tall and lives for up to 35 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 59 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a sturdy, crooked trunk covered in very thick, ridged, copper-coloured bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is light brown.

The sparse patches of branches trail down across the ground and are covered with copious amounts of large, stiff, pointed leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are either gold, or olive with peach dots.

In early spring, it produces lots of small, bronze blossoms with long, narrow petals. They are very delicate and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like baby powder.

In late autumn it produces tiny, long, narrow fruit. The hairy copper skin is tough and extremely spicy, and the very soft olive flesh is sweet and sticky. The yellow seeds are tiny and are bunched at the top of the fruit.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
