Bronzebell

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 29 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous very thick, twisting stems covered in silky, black bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.

The branches are long, thin and wispy with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of small, wispy, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are bronze and hazel, flimsy and leathery.

It produces thick bunches of tiny, gold flowers with spear shaped petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a powerful scent that smells like a woman. In late winter it forms tinyblack, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
