Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small fruit tree grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for up to 15 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 17 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, crooked trunk covered in thick, ridged, copper-coloured bark, and inside, the flexible wood is pale yellow.

The small handful of branches are very long, thin and wispy and are covered with copious amounts of giant, very thick leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are found in sky blue, green and vibrant orange varieties.

In early spring, it produces balls of tiny, dark grey blossoms with slender, pointed petals. They are sturdy and have an intense scent that smells like warm milk.

In early autumn it produces , oval fruit. The smooth purple skin is thick and inedible, and the slightly crunchy amber flesh is bitter and dry. The silver seed is large and sits at the top of the fruit.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.

It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is bio-luminescent.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
