Emerald Shield Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In bogs, and In damp forests.
It is massive, growing up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is very delicate; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.

The leaves have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
