Sungrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized, lime green and yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, azure flower.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
