Blood Red Succulent

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 68 feet (20.7 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 5 sickle shaped stems. Each stem is brown, and is covered in thick sheets of fine, blood red, hair-like spines.

It is slow growing, taking 48 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are generally dark grey; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 curved petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like varnish.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the silver flesh is rough, and the lilac sap is thin.
