Blue Dreamvine

This colossal flower grows up to 8.8 feet (2.7 meters) tall. Its green stem is wispy, and the small, lime green leaves are long, tapering with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Two large flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 30 cm (11.8 inches) wide, with solid sky blue petals decorated with turquoise lines and a light brown central disk. The flower head is made up of many petals in raised layers. They are very delicate.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like sweat, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
