Orange Ember Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In marshes.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very strong.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
