Graygrass

This big, gray grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in large clumps that are light and frail.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, hazel flower.

During the late summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.
