Magenta
Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This colossal fruit tree grows up to 73 feet (22.3 meters) tall and lives for up to 10 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 19 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a very thick, twisting trunk covered in thin, waxy, brown bark, and inside, the very dense wood is silver.
The small bunches of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with very large amounts of giant, fan-like leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are found in magenta, black and peach varieties.
In early spring, it produces thick bunches of medium-sized, lime blossoms with sickle shaped petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like old shoes.
In late autumn it produces small, pleated fruit. The rough vivid green skin is stretchy and inedible, and the crunchy crimson flesh is sweet and oily. The bronze seed is large and sits at the end of the fruit.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with grassy ground between them.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
