Flamegrass

This short, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in large clumps that are sturdy and flexible and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, sky blue puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.
