Burgundy Creeper

This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 9 feet (2.7 meters)0. It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 11 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and slick.

The pleated, crispy leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are either lime, or white with black dots, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thick bunches of tiny orange flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny seed pods.
