Purple Haze

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. Its purple stems grow in bunches of 6 and are wispy with a curved tip, and the large, yellow-green leaves are thick with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Two large flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, with petals that are generally hazel; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is largely flat with many raised round-tipped petals. They detach easily.

It has a soft scent that smells like new carpet, and it has an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.
