Peachleaf Tree

This enormous tree grows up to 127 meters (416.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 237 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a long and flexible, slanted trunk covered in very thick, rough, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the very dense wood is pine-coloured.

The small bunches of branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with small amounts of smooth, giant, fan-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either peach, or lilac with magenta streaks.

In early spring, it produces thick bunches of medium-sized, bright purple blossoms with 9 pointed petals. They are sturdy and have a soft scent that smells like sweat.

In late summer it forms giant, orange, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
