Orange Flame Moss

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In damp forests.
It is massive, growing up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly flexible; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
