Amber

This big caudiciform grows up to 96 feet (29.3 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stem is yellow-green, and is covered in copious amounts of flexible amber spines. It has a straight, bulbous, grey trunk atop a stumpy web of knobbly, exposed roots. The branches are bulbous and orange-yellow and are tall, rigid and upright.

The rounded-edged, asymmetrical leaves are solid peach or blue, with magenta patches. They are frail, but take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are peach in the center, pink in the middle and cream at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cube. It has no scent.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the bold red flesh is slimy, and the grey sap is thin.
