Silverpine

This small leaf succulent grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The thick stem is lime green, and is covered in lots of rigid silver spines. The slender leaves are found in drab green and turquoise varieties. Small amounts of them grow on very thick, brown branches that are short, rigid and upright. The leaves are frail, and detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with bronze petals that gradient shift to hazel on the outer edge. The central disk is drab green grows at the top, reappearing once every 4 years. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 18 widely spaced, narrow petals. It has a strong scent that smells like bleach.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the copper flesh is leathery, and the bright purple sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.
