Creamfern

This cream moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In marshes, and On rotten logs.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly frail.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.
