Silvery Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This giant tree grows up to 94 meters (308.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 442 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, crooked trunk covered in silky, silver and white bark, and inside, the soft wood is white.

The sparse amount of branches are long, thin and wispy and are covered with handfuls of smooth, tiny, pleated leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are found in indigo, olive and magenta varieties.

In late summer it forms giant, black, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
