Silvervine

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 481 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a flexible, straight trunk covered in silky, mahogany-coloured bark, and inside, the hard wood is silver.

The numerous branches trail down to the ground and are covered with copious amounts of soft, small, circular leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid silver with indigo streaks.

In late summer it forms giant, bold green seed pods.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.

The sap is lime.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
