Purple Vine

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 31 feet (9.4 meters)0. It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 5 years for the purple stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The thick, soft leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are grey on the edges and peach at the center, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces balls of large black flowers.
