Golden Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In bogs, and In moorlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very light; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
