Orange Puffgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This short, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, pastel blue puff.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It blooms only at night.
