Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 20 feet (6.1 meters)0.

It takes 2 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.

The stiff, pointed, sticky leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are hazel and faded orange, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the vine produces balls of small copper flowers.

It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
