Burgundy Vine

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 48 feet (14.6 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 2 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and woody.

The wispy, crispy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are a shade of burgundy that gradient shifts to orange at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many average yellow flowers.
