Sky Blue Clinger

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its sky blue stem is wispy, and the miniature, emerald leaves are teardrop-shaped with ripped edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Hundreds of medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of lime. The flower head is shaped like a dish with 45 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They are very delicate.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like onion, and it has lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
