Azureleaf Succulent

This short leaf succulent grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The tapering stem is lime green and gray, and is dotted with small yellow spines. The stocky leaves are found in azure, light brown and pink varieties. Small amounts of them grow on wide, gray branches that are short stubs. The leaves are light, and take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 15 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with yellow petals that gradient shift to dark grey on the outer edge. The central disk is olive grow at the top, reappearing after 10 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of 13 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like coffee.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the azure flesh is waxy, and the caramel sap is thin.
