Indigo vine

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters) and growing as high as 150 feet (45.7 meters).

It takes 3 years for the indigo stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.

The asymmetrical, rough leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are solid peach or indigo, with muted red edges, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of average dark grey flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large seed pods.
