Puffgrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short, lime green and gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in small clumps that are strong and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, black puff.

During the early winter, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.

It can survive a long time without water.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
