Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is extremely resilient; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
