Silvergrass

This modest-sized, gray-green grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in thin clumps that are durable and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, silver puff.

During the early winter, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few large grains.
