Bluefire Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 48 feet (14.6 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stem is red, and is covered in thick sheets of rigid sky blue spines. The wavy-edged, shield-shaped leaves are light brown on the sides and caramel at the center. Small amounts of them grow from the base like blades of grass. The leaves are flimsy, and do not detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with black petals that gradient shift to pastel orange on the outer edge. The central disk is purple, grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of handfuls of tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like rotten egg.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the peach flesh is leathery, and the purple sap is thin.
