Yellowgrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This modest-sized, yellow-green grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, light grey flower.
During the mid-autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
