Brownfire

This light brown moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In heathlands, In damp forests, and On trees.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is extremely frail; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
