Blackvine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 11 feet (3.4 meters) and growing as high as 790 feet (240.8 meters).
It takes 3 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.
The very narrow and elongated, rough leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are found in black, black and intense yellow varieties, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces thick bunches of giant blue flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of large fruits.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
