Emerald Moor Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In moorlands, and In heathlands.
It is large, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly light; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
