Aquafern

This giant shrub grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 104 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous wide, straight stems covered in delicate, smooth, gray bark, and the wood inside is pale yellow.

The branches are very long and thin with dozens of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of giant, fan-like, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are amber and turquoise, frail and covered in fine hairs.

In early spring it produces several large, indigo flowers with broad, flat petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a faint scent that smells like a damp log.
