Copper Heath Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In heathlands, In marshes, and In moorlands.
It is large, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
