Climbing Pricklevine

This small vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters)0.

It takes 2 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The very narrow and elongated, soft leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are pink on the edges and white at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thick bunches of large yellow flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.
