Crescent Moss

This lime green or caramel moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In rainforests, and In damp forests.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly resilient.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
