Emerald Flame Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In moorlands, In heathlands, and In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly frail.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores.
