Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges, In moorlands, and In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is very flexible.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
