Emerald Bog Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In bogs, and In marshes.
It is colossal, growing up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly rigid; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.
