Amber Needlebrush

This large shrub grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and lives for around 91 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several branched, straight stems covered in hard, ridged, black bark, and the wood inside is yellow.

The branches trail down towards the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, needle-like, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are aquamarine on the sides and amber at the center, rigid and sticky.

In early summer it produces hundreds of giant, brown flowers with needle-like petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have the faintest scent that smells like a man.
