Emerald Bog Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In bogs.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is extremely resistant.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
