Waterstem Grass

This short, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in sparse patches that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, cream tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
