Silvervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters)0.

It takes 3 months for the slate stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.

The pleated, waxy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are generally silver, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces lots of average azure flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces plenty of tiny berries.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It can survive a very long time without water.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
