Golden Vine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 13 feet (4.0 meters) and growing as high as 77 feet (23.5 meters).

It takes 4 months for the gold stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are soft and flexible.

The thick, sticky leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are found in violet and lime varieties, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces hundreds of tiny slate flowers.
